Lexington, KY - Late Friday night, developer Dudley Webb said despite a twitter proclamation from Cincinnati restauranteur Jeff Ruby, work is not imminent for the CentrePointe block in downtown Lexington.
Shortly before 2 Friday afternoon, Ruby, the owner of steakhouses and other restaurants in the Cincinnati area and Louisville tweeted “BREAKING NEWS: Jeff Ruby’s opening at CentrePointe dtn Lexington,May 2015.”
Webb said in a phone interview that there is still work to do in securing Tax Increment Financing approval from Lexington and the state.
